Intern with The Cipher Brief

We get it, that’s why we’re offering you a second serving of TCB as a Summer Intern. We're looking for a few good interns to join our Marketing and Editorial Teams this summer.

 

Marketing Intern 

As a marketing intern you will experience the fast-pace and high responsibility of a start-up environment. Interns will work on social media, merchandise, event planning, sales content, and creating and launching various marketing campaigns.

Applicant Qualifications & Materials: 

• Applicants must be proficient in Mailchimp, Adobe, and the Office Suite.

• Enrolled in an accredited university program with at least 60 credit hours or junior standing or provide a faculty recommendation. 

• Resume/CV, 

• One-page cover letter,

• Optional: examples of previous work (graphic designs, marketing, social media, or email campaigns, press releases etc.)

 

Journalism Intern

As a journalism intern you will work with the editorial team on the research, editing, and publishing of Cipher Brief content. Interns will experience the fast-pace of a small business with an opportunity to work on a variety of topics related to national security.

Applicant Qualifications & Materials: 

• Applicants must be proficient in the Office Suite.

• Enrolled in an accredited university program with at least 60 credit hours or junior standing or provide a faculty recommendation. 

• Resume/CV, 

• One-page cover letter,

• 1-2 writing samples
